Guangzhou Metro is one of the most extensive and busiest metro systems in China, with multiple lines covering most parts of the city. There are 17 lines by the end of 2024. It operates daily from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. and uses a distance-based fare system with fares starting at CNY2. It also provides direct access to Canton-Baiyun International Airport via Line 3.
