Mu Mansion

Mu Mansion, or 木府 in Chinese, is situated in the old town of Lijiang. It is known as the Forbidden City of Lijiang, and took 200 years to build the mansion in a 6 hectare site. The mansion is a palace for local chief in Lijiang in the historu. The mansion contains as many as 100 buildings in different architecture styles: Naxi, Bai, Tibetan, and Han etc. An earth quake damged the mansion badly in 1996, and rebuilt afterwards.
