6-Day Inner Mongolia Tour: Grassland, Desert, Ordos, Baotou, Hohhot

Welcom to Hohhot, the capital city of Inner Mongolia. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel in Hohhot. Enjoy your free time for the rest of the day time.

Drive to Xilamuren grassland after breakfast, pass by mountain Yin on the way, You will be welcomed by Drinking Ceremony when you arrive. Horse riding is available if you want to try (option). Then to visit Honggeer Aobao hill, which is the biggest aobo at local. You will watch the large-scale performance "Legend of South Grassland" , which compromises fighting, Mongolian music, horse riding, wrestling, archery and shamanism sacrifice. There are more than 70 horses and actors in the show. You will feel like back to 800 years ago in the solemn music. Dinner served is the best banquet of Mongolian--- Zhama banquet.  After bonfire party, you'll experience the Mongolian yurt overnight.

Remarks: Zhama banquet is the banquet for Royal Mongolians, you'll be dressed like a royal Mongolian to enjoy the traditional performance and delicious food.

Head to Xiangshawan, and you'll see Yellow River Bridge on the way. After lunch, you'll go to Kubuqi Desert （entrance fee and cable car are included). To take the cable car to Xiangshawan Desert and have fun in the activites（camel riding, sand surfing car, zip line, motor car, and performance ect.）

Later, check in the hotel in Ordos.

Today you'll visit Mausoleum of Genghis Khan. It is  the biggest Genghis Khan and Mongolian culture theme park in the world. Then go to Kangbashi City Tourism Area to see Ordos Mongolian Wedding Park. Then to city square to see the Mongolian style buildings. 

Later, you will head to Dalate to check in the hotel

To visit Wudangzhao, one of the four most famous Tibetan Buddhism temple in China, which is equally famous  as the Potala Palace in Tibet. It is the largest Tibetan Buddhism temple in Inner Mongolia.

Go back to Huhhot after lunch, then to visit Ancient  General’s Office, which was the living and working place for the officers in Qing Dynasty.

After breakfast, you'll visit a Tibetan Buddhism temple also a royal temple: Dazhao Temple. The 3-treasure (silver Buddha, dragon sculptures, painting) are the must-see. Then go to  Inner Mongolia Museum(close on Mondays), you will visit the popular exhibition halls of northern Nomads culture and history, dinosaur fossils, spaceflights, ect.  

Then you can depart from Hohhot at the airport or railway station where the tour concludes.
