Chengdu to Chongqing Tour 6D: Panda Base, Sanxingdui, Dujiangyan, Dazu

Welcome to Chengdu. Upon arrival, met and transferred to Chengdu hotel. Enjoy the free time to explore the rest of the day if you arrive early.

Today you will view the cute pandas in the morning when it is the feeding time. 

Then you will head to Sanxingdui to visit the amazing Sanxingdui Museum that is well-known for the bronze carvings.

Later you will be transferred to your hotel.

Today you will take one-hour car ride to Dujiangyan Irrigation System, a UNESCO cultural heritage, which was built over 2000 years ago, and still working nowadays to irrigate the farm in Sichuan Province.

This afternoon you will get back to Chengdu to visit the Wenshu Temple, Kuan and Zhai Alley etc. 

Today you will take 3-hour car ride to Dazu where you will view the colorful stone carving on the hill. As UNESCO heritage, Dazu is renowned for the well-preserved stone carvings.

Then you will take another 2-hour car ride to the mountain city Chongqing. 

Chongqing is a very popular travel destination because its hilly location beside the Yangtze River and Jialing River. It is interesting to view the metro through the buildings, and take the cable car over the Yangtze River. Moreover, you will visit the Ciqikou old street, and Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street . In the evening, enjoy the lights beside the river on the Hongyadong buildings(view it from the bridge for Chinese holidays as there are too many people). Then you will get back to your hotel.

Today it is departure day, you will be transferred to Chongqing airport or dock as per your fight or cruise time, where the wonderful tour concludes.
