ITINERARY

Day 1Beijing Arrival Transfer

Welcome to Beijing, the capital of P.R.China. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Beijing hotel.

Day 2Beijing: Mutianyu Great Wall

Today you will take 2-hour ride to the Mutianyu Great Wall, which was built 600 years ago in the early Ming Dynasty. You can choose walk up or take cable car up to the Great Wall, and view the imposing ancient Chinese military construction. The impressive Wall extends like a dragon on the top of the endless mountains. It is a nice walk on the Wall to enjoy the fantastic scenery.

Lunch is included at a local restaurant before moving back to Beijing hotel.

Day 3Beijing to Xi'an by bullet train after The Forbidden City tour

You will visit the biggest city square in the world, the Tiananmen Square. Then walk to The Forbidden City, the biggest palace in the world. Explore the main buildings with a local guide in the palace. Then you will catch 5-hour bullet train to Xian after included lunch. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to hotel.

Day 4Xi'an: Terra Cotta Warriors, Old City Wall and Muslim Quarter

This morning you will take the fantastic tour to Terra-cotta Warriors that is one-hour car ride from Xian. There are 3 exhibition halls presenting various warriors and horses that were made 2200 years ago, and each warrior has unique face.

This afternoon you will move to visit the 14-km old City Wall in Xian, which was built in Ming Dynasty and still well preserved. You can walk, or ride bike on the wall to view the old city and modern city in and out of the city wall. 

Later, you will visit the Muslim Quarter in the city center, which is situated near Bell and Drum Tower. There are shops, snack stands, market, and restaurants in this area, and it is nice to view the bustling street here.

Day 5Xi'an to Hangzhou by air after visit to Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Provincial Musuem

In the morning, you will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Shaanxi Provincial Museum.

The Big Wild Goose Pagoda: It was build 1500 years ago in Tang Dynasty, still well preserved. You can have a bird view of the city when you climb up the pagoda.

Shaanxi Provincial Museum (close on Mondays): One of the biggest museums in China, houses more than 3000 relics dated back to millions years ago.

In the afternoon, catch 2-hour flight to Hangzhou. Upon arrival, transferred to hotel.

Day 6Hangzhou to Shanghai by train/car after sighteeing

Today you will walk along the pretty West Lake in Hangzhou, then you will visit the Lingyin Temple that is a renowned Buddhism Temple in China. 

Later, you will catch a bullet train or car ride to Shanghai from Hangzhou. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 7Shanghai city tour by metro/taxi

City explore in Shanghai by metro and taxi today with a local guide, you will visit the Bund that is riverfront of the Huangpu River, Yu Garden that is an old pretty garden, Nanjing Road, and Xintiandi that is former French Colony, etc.

Day 8Departure from Shanghai

Today is departure day, you will be transferred to Shanghai Airport to catch your flight back home, where the wonderful tour concludes.
