Tupan is amazing to preserve the splendid history and ruins from the ancient time to now. This day tour will let you explore three attractions including Kumtag Desert, Tuyok Uyghur Village, and Aydingkol Lake with a local guide. It is wonderful to view the landscape in this dry area. Local lunch and Turpan city located hotel pickup and drop off are included.
Today you will take one hour car ride to Kumtag Desert in Shanshan, enjoy the fabulous scenery of the endless desert.
Then you will head to visit Tuyok Uyghur Village that is situated by the Flaming Mountain at the entrance of Tupok Valley, where there are old clay houses to view the traditional life of local people.
Later, you will head to Aydingkol Lake, which is the lowest place on land in the world. With the altitude -154.5m, it is extremely dry area. The lake is a salty lake, and can be 50℃ in summer due to the low altitude and location.
