South India is different from northern India. This wonderful tour will let you travel from Kochi to Periyar, Madurai, Thanjavur, Mahabalipuram, and Chennai. You will enjoy the highlights of the area with your local guide. Staying overnight in a houseboat to enjoy the sunset is quite unique experience. Please note South Indian temples have got do & don’ts which need to be followed strictly, and for some places Non Hindus are not allowed to the inner sanctum, but can visit from outer part of the temple.
Arrival Kochi Airport. Welcome & assistance at outside Airport by our local office representative.
Transfer to hotel & Check-in.
Enjoy your breakfast in the hotel.
After checkout, you will take a private vehicle to start the half day Kochi sightseeing tour including Fort Kochi, Chinese Fishing nets, St Francis Church, Jewish Synagogue, and Mattancherry Palace。
After sightseeing, you will take a car ride to Alleppey. Upon arrival, board on a Houseboat to start the unique experience.
Lunch will be served inside houseboat.
Cruise through Vembanad lake by houseboat till evening where the boat will stay overnight.
Evening enjoy Sunset Cruise.
Dinner & overnight stay in Houseboat.

Then you will disembark and take 3-hour car ride to Periyar.
Upon arrival, check in the hotel.
In the afternoon, you will visit Periyar wildlife sanctuary enjoying a boat ride on Periyar Lake.

After check-out, you will take 3-hour car ride to Madurai.
Upon arrival, check in the hotel.
In the afternoon, you will start the sightseeing including Sri Meenakshi Temple, Mandapa of a Thousand Pillars and Temple Art Museum, outside view of Sundaresvara Shrine in Sri Meenakshi Temple (cannot enter inside).
Later you will visit Thirumalai Nayaka Palace including Tirumalai Naiker Palace Museum,

Enjoy your breakfast in the hotel.
After check out, take 3-hour car ride to Trichy.
Upon arrival, you will sightsee visiting Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Thousand Pillars Mandapam & Art sculpture pillars and Udayavar.
Then you will visit Sri Jambukeshwara), Our Lady of St. Lourdes Church (outside photo), Rock Fort (outside photo).
After sightseeing, drive 1-hour to Thanjavur.

Checkout, then start the sightseeing including Brihadisvara Temple & Gangai kondacholapuram temple.
After sightseeing, you will take 4-hour car ride to Mahabalipuram.

Checkout, you will start the sightseeing including the Sea Shore Temple, Mahabalipuram Cave Religious Sites, Varaha Cave Temple, Krishna Mandapam, Arjuna's Penance, Krishna's Butter Ball, Thirumurthi cave, and the Five Rathas
After sightseeing, you will take 1.5-hour car ride to Chennai.
Upon arrival, check in the hotel.

Enjoy your breakfast in the hotel.
Start the sightseeing including High Court (outside view), visit Fort St. George, Kapaleeshwar Temple, St. Thomas Cathedral Basilica Chennai.
Visit Marina Beach later.
Then, you will be transferred to Chennai International Airport for onward journey, the tour concludes.
