Around the Jokhang Monastery, there is a well-known street that is called Bakhor. As the historical commercial center of Lhasa from the ancient to today, Bakhor Street is filled with various shops selling different goods shipped from different parts of the world.
There are incense burners around the monastery, the air is mixed with the juniper burning smell. Moreover, the most impressive kora, pilgrim circuit, is clockwise around the Jokhang Monastery. You can immerse into the crowd of pilgrims in the later afternoon.
