Transport in Turpan

Turpan is always the hub on the ancient Silk Road and now it is still the hub in Xinjiang Proinve, where you can go to Southern, Northern, and Eastern Xinjiang. The bullet train from Turpan will take you to Urumqi, Hami, Dunhuang(Liuyuan), Xining, and Lanzhou. The new Turpan airport will take you to some big cities in China in summer. However, you must know there are two train stations in Turpan city, Turpan Railway Station, and Turpan Bei Railway Station, and they are very far about 40km away, so make sure which train station for your train. All bullet trains get to Turpan Bei Railway Station, Bei means north.
