In northern Xinjiang, there is a small Hemu Village that is well-preserved traditional Mogolian village. Recently it became popular for tourists to visit Hemu as its quiet and picturesque scenery. The wooden houses that are built by local Tuwa Mongolians are located in the valley, and pines, furs etc grow on the mountains near the village. It is so nice to take photos in the afternoon and in the morning when the village are cooking their meals. The best season to travel here is in autumn when the tree leaves turn into yellow and red.
As it is near Kanas Lake, travelers can visit Hemu and Kanas for one tour while travelling to Xinjiang, China.
