Small Wild Goose Pagoda

Located in the Jianfu Monastery Xian, Small Wild Goose Pagoda was built in 707AD during Tang Dynasty(618-907AD). The pagoda was similar but smaller than the Pig Wild Goose Pagoda which was built in 652AD, hence it was named Smaller Wild Goose Pagoda.

Currently the pagoda is 43.4 meters in height with 13 storeys, and it used to be 15 storeys in the history. Xian Museum is situated behind the pagoda with relics excavated in the area Xian.

Small Wild Goose Pagoda was inscribed on the World Heritage by UNESCO in 2014 as one site of the Silk Road.

It is a very quiet place with fewer tourists, so that is highly recommended to travel to here when you travel to China.
